Jamie's Italian, Liverpool

I was recently invited to Jamie's Italian  in Liverpool city center and was treated to a delicious three course dinner with my Mum. Jamie's Italian has often caught my eye in passing, with their majorly cute outside decor. So when I received the invitation, I jumped at the chance.

We both started with a glass of fizz, it would be rude not to, right? I chose the Elderflower Spritz and Mum went for the Strawberry Rossini. Both where absolutely beautiful! My favourite was the Elderflower Spritz as it was so refreshing! Where as the Strawberry Rossini was a little thicker in texture and more fruity.

For starters, we opted for the Garlic and Chilli Prawns which was served with baked garlic buns and the Porcini Arancini (Fried balls of mushroom risotto with mozzarella & Italian cheese fondue). Being a huge seafood lover, the prawns where my ultimate favourite. However I did fall in love with the Italian cheese fondue that accompanied the Porcini Arancini.

Mains where such a tricky choice, with so many choices, it was hard to settle on just one! So we chose two mains both my Mum and I liked and split. We chose the Chicken Cacciatore and the Famous Prawn Linguine. Both dishes exploded with flavour after every bite. I could not get enough! The presentation was delightful too!

No dinner date would be complete with out pudding! Being chocoholics, we chose the Molten Chocolate Praline Pudding and the Epic Brown and boy they didn't let us down. The chocolate puddings has us hooked from first bite! I possibly think desert was my favourite course!

Jamie's Italian is the perfect place for any type of group to dine, whether your going for a romantic meal for two, or wanting a dining experience with the girls! The friendly atmosphere and vibrant staff will leave you wanting more and jumping to go back!
