One of those days.

Hi guys!

Have you ever had one of those days? Where you just want to moan, you don't know what is wrong when people ask? Basically, you’re in a foul mood and nothing or no one can make you feel better. I have as late, been having quite a few of these days!

With my job and working in the mental health sector, I work a 3 shift pattern, which includes working nights. Even though this has been my shift pattern since January, I still can't get my sleeping pattern right. I mean, sleeping in the day? I'm all for naps and siestas but I can't help think I’m wasting my day! Which results in me not getting rough sleep and being in a foul mood for no reason!

The past week whilst I have been on nights, I have tried to bring myself out of these 'fed up' days and have a few ideas for you guys who are also feeling like this!

1. Sleep. Yes, I know I’m a hypocrite, but getting enough sleep is vital. I find taking away all technology, burying my head in a book and having a hot tea helps me drift off!

2. Water. Often, the reason we can sometimes feel lethargic and have no energy is because we are wayyyy to dehydrate! Get those two litres of water in people! If you struggle with water intake like me, try add some chopped up fruit to infuse for flavour!

3. Call a friend. Friends are great for cheering you up. Send a quick text or go for a short visit. Being around others, can stop you overthinking. You can always count on your friends to cheer you up.

4. Pamper day! Get the bath bombs out, face masks and the cheesiest, comfiest pyjamas you have. I always find that a good head to toe pamper, can make you feel a million dollars!

5. The outdoors. There is nothing better than being outside, especially with this month’s weather! Grab your coffee to go, take a book and find a park tree to sit under.

6. If the above fails, get the Netflix on. I am constantly watching new series with a big fat hot chocolate and marshmallows next to me. No-one ever got fed up with Netflix...right?

Well guys! Above are just a few ideas to get you out of that 'fed up mood'. Have you got any tips on having 'one of those days'?
