Hi guys!

Today I'll be writing about a new hair product I have been using.

BIG is a sea salt shampoo, made by the fabulous LUSH.
Even though I spend probably a little bit more than I should do at this store, I still can't fault any of there products. I have never really took much interest in the hair selection at LUSH, I usually stick to my bargain shampoos from the local pound store. However, I was luckily enough to be invited to a hair show at the local college by LUSH and was given a huge goodie bag, filled to the brim with hair products, EVERY gals dream!

So the shampoo itself is described from LUSH as:
A volumising shampoo made with seaweed and sea salt. While the salt lifts the hair and adds body, it also manages softens the hair alongside extra virgin coconut oil and protein-rich toothhes wrack seaweed. Lemon and lime allow the hair to shine as they allow the cuticles on you rhair to lie flat, meaning they reflect more light. Use a small amount on wet hair and work it in well to build lather.

I was quite intrigued about the whole 'volumising ' bit. Usually I think its a little fad that a shampoo can create volume, I just don't understand how it can? Anyhoo......

The texture of the shampoo is quite sloppy and grainy but manageable.

I used a small amount of this shampoo, the size of a 50 pence piece. I started to work the shampoo into the crown of my hair and before I knew it, the scent hit me instantly. I can't describe scents very well but this is just to die for, if you like coconut, this is for you!Big latheres up really well and quick, which is great, as there is nothing worse than a shampoo that takes agggeeessss to lather up. You can feel the sea salt in your hair melting away, the more you
scrub. I actually left BIG on my hair for a few minutes after lathering, the smell was just too nice to rinse off straight away.

On rinsing off, my hair was completely salt free, another point I was a little iffy about. My hair still smelt amazing and felt utterly soft! Soft enough that I didn't go on to use a conditioner, which is a big (no pun intended) thing for me, as my locks get to tatty! When blow drying my hair, I didn't really get any lift/volume in my roots however I did in the rest of it. I instantly had bed head hair, a look I love, but have never managed myself! My hair looked gorgeous and shiny and still smelt amazing! Throughout the day, I got a few comments saying my hair looked fresh and smelt good and the scent actually remained on my hair until my next wash, (two days later!).

You can buy BIG for £11.95 for a 330g, which personally, for that price, I won't be buying as it is way too expensive. If it was around  £5.00, I would by it over and over.
Have you used BIG before? Or have any hair products you would love to share?
